Deutsche Telekom Germany CEO: Rodrigo Diehl
What's New: At the end of the summer, we published a Deep-Dive note looking at the German FTTH market and we followed this with a call with the CFO of Deutsche Giganetz.
We are therefore delighted to follow up further with a call with the (relatively) new CEO of DT's German division, Rodrigo Diehl, who took over the new role in March 2025 and prior to that was the CEO of DT's Austrian division.
There is clearly a huge amount that can be discussed with Rodrigo, especially around the competitive fixed and mobile dynamics in the German market, and the call will be open for Q&A.
We will also try to focus on how Rodrigo sees the longer-term structure of the German fibre market as he takes over the business. Is DT concerned about fibre competition in Germany? Does DT want to overbuild? Does DT want to accelerate its own build? Would DT consider wholebuy from fibre challengers? Could DT ever do any M&A in Germany? How does DT begin the shutdown of its copper network?
