WHAT: US Internet analyst, Dan Salmon, will be hosting a conversation with Jason to discuss the outlook for ad spending going into 2H26, how AI search and conversational/agentic shopping are reshaping consumer discovery, and the evolving competitive landscape across GOOGL, META, AMZN, ChatGPT, PINS, and others.

SPEAKER BIO: Jason Hartley is the Head of Media Innovation & Trust at PMG, one of the largest independent media buying agencies and marketing platforms, managing over $7B+ of a client spend. Hartley is a member of the Google Performance Council and was previously the Head of Search and Shopping for the agency. Prior to joining PMG, Jason was EVP, Head of Search and Shopping at 360i (owned by Dentsu) and also worked at Hachette Media and Martha Stewart Omnimedia.

WHY: The call will be a great opportunity to discuss popular investor questions, including:

  1. What's the overall tone from advertisers going into 2H26?  Are macro and/or other industry-specific headwinds growing or is enthusiasm building into year-end?
  2. When consumers use LLMs, do you think they are replacing GOOGL queries, or are they creating a new category of behavior that did not previously monetize well?
  3. How do you think measurement works if an LLM influences the purchase decision but the final transaction happens somewhere else, like GOOGL, AMZN, WMT, or a brand site?
  4. What are your views on the ramp of OpenAI Ads and the ChatGPT offering so far and what do you think are the most important factors for long-term success?
  5. You recently participated in META's annual Performance Marketing Summit. What are your views on the latest there, including its "under the hood" innovations like Andromeda, GEM and ARM?
  6. What is your outlook for the growth of agentic commerce and how do you expect it to impact retail media like AMZN Sponsored Ads or platforms like PINS?
