Client Call with SK Telecom Head of Investor Relations

We will be hosting a virtual meeting for NSR clients with the Head of Investor Relations at SK Telecom this September. Format will be conducted in a small group setting with a focus on Q&A.

The South Korean dynamic is reminiscent of what the Chinese Telcos experienced in 2022 which ultimately led to a re-rating – benign competition, diversification through a deeper focus into enterprise and importantly, improving shareholder remuneration. All three had disclosed their Value Up plans, of which we think KT is the most aggressive in terms of cost cutting and share buybacks. For SKT however, the data breach likely means 2025 will be the year of rebuilding. We highly encourage investors to join us as we think the call can provide us with insights whether there is any refocus in terms of its AI/ICT strategy or capital allocation plans.​​​​​​
