Expert call with ex DG Comp legal advisor Pablo Asbo to discuss European M&A

We will be hosting a call with ex DG Comp legal advisor Pablo Asbo to discuss the possibility of M&A in France and other EU countries.

WHY: After a long wait, we finally have an offer in France. A consortium bid for SFR – read about that HERE. We don’t yet know if the deal will be looked at by Brussels or Paris (or if there will be a deal), but Pablo will be able to help us to understand who might get legislative oversight and why. In addition, he will be able to help us understand the review process, what a possible remedy package might look like, and how the upcoming merger review of horizontal and vertical guidelines will impact the process.

In addition, we will also touch on the subject of M&A in other EU countries, and how the France situation might impact others in Europe – for example are European regulators ready to go 3-2 in mobile?
